Wendy Nelson

Wendy is a Saskatchewan artist based in Regina. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Regina in 1995 and her Master of Fine Arts Degree from Indiana University at Bloomington in 2002.
Wendy works primarily in photographs and is interested in exploring the plants and animals of the prairies and the light that reveals them.
She has worked on a pilot project with The Sask. Arts Board and the Shaunavon School Division as an Artist in Residence for The Shaunavon School Division for 3 years. and as an Artist -Educator with Learning Through the Arts in the Regina School Division. In 2008 she joined the CARFAC SASKATCHEWAN team as program coordinator. In 2015, Wendy became the Executive Director of CARFAC SASKATCHEWAN.
Wendy’s work is in various public & private collections and she is represented by Scott Nicholson Fine Arts.
