Advocacy
CARFAC SASK represents the needs of visual artists through an active and responsive advocacy program to various levels of government and to other agencies whose activities affect the artists in order to promote the well-being of the individual visual artist and enhance the development of visual artists in Saskatchewan. Locally CARFAC SASK represents the rights of the artist in civic issues and activities. CARFAC SASK maintains a liaison with the Saskatchewan Arts Board and SaskCulture, and is an active member of the Canadian Conference of the Arts, the Saskatchewan Arts Alliance, and the Saskatchewan Cultural Industries Development Council.
