Leesa Streifler: In Relation 

Reception April 25th - Art Gallery of Regina 

A new exhibition "In Relation" by Leesa Streifler" is on display April 18 - May 12 at the gallery with a reception next Wednesday April 25 from 7-9pm.

This exhibition features new figurative paintings focused on the female body. In this work, the artist explores social and relational experiences including childhood, sexuality, mothering, and ageing. Streifler is known for her feminist, psychologically-based work where the body is positioned as the reference point for the challenging of conventions and traditional mores.
