Join us on Thursday, May 19 from 5-7pm at the Art Gallery of Regina for the Opening of Susan Shantz's new exhibition, "Chamber ".

This show explores the physical and metaphysical space between nature and culture and between the natural world and the constructed environment. Shantz uses everyday facsimiles of nature such as fabric leaves, Astroturf and wooden birds to critique the disparity between our professed reverence for nature and our culture of consumption which is complicit in its current crisis.

The show is sponsored by Greystone Managed Investments Inc. and will be on display until June 23, 2011.

The Art Gallery of Regina is located in the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre at 2420 Elphinstone Street in Regina. Access parking is via 15th Ave & McTavish Street.
