EVENT: Saskatchewan Craft Council’s Annual Jury Session

The Saskatchewan Craft Council’s Annual Jury Session will be held March 12-13, 2011 at the Affinity Gallery, 813 Broadway Ave., Saskatoon.

In order to participate in the retail Fine Craft Markets sponsored by the SCC (The Handcraft Festival in Battleford, Waterfront Art & Craft Festival in Saskatoon, Harvest Moon Fine Craft Market in Lloydminster and the Wintergreen Fine Craft Market in Regina) craft artists must have their work approved by a jury of their peers, i.e. potters are juried by potters, jewellers by jewellers, etc.  

SCC Juried Members set a standard of superior quality that is recognized across the country as well as by the visitors who attend our Fine Craft Markets. With well over 13,000 people visiting the markets and gross sales in excess of $479,700 in 2010—the SCC markets are an established sales opportunity. SCC Juried Members automatically qualify for SCC Fine Craft Market participation.
