This is a brand new workshop created for CARFAC SASK by Holly Fay. It will share insights & strategies for the artist to prepare & present an Artist talk. (first presentation)
Giving
an artist talk provides a valuable opportunity to offer insight into your work.
However, forming and giving a public talk can be a very daunting task. This
workshop will deliver practical information on preparing and presenting a
successful artist talk. The workshop will take participants through an outline
for preparation, plus give tips and strategies on

How does an artist succeed as a professional in their career? What is necessary to consider as we balance our creative lives with our career ambitions?
This workshop is designed in to help artists establish career practices and goals, both short term and long term. We will also discuss some of the steps required to achieving those goals. This is a workshop that will introduce the participants to key considerations for establishing an effective course of action as a professional artist. Artists in any stage of their careers may benefit from this workshop.
