Workshop - Contracts & You: Contracts for Visual Artists & the Arts Professions Act
CARFAC SASK and Neutral Ground present the workshop;
"Contracts & You: Contracts for Visual Artists & the Arts Professions Act"
Do you want to know about contracts? What is the Arts Professions Act?
The Saskatchewan Arts Professions Act requires a written contract between artists and engagers. The contract must include specific basic elements which are detailed in the Checklist For Written Contracts, provided by the Ministry of Tou...rism, Parks, Culture and Sport. It is important to note that written contracts must be used in all cases. This workshop is meant to familiarize artists, arts organizations and those who wish to engage artists, with the new law and to introduce CARFAC SASK’s new contract templates.
